Camp Griffin at Spartanburg Day School

Marlins Summer Swim Team

USC Upstate Athletic Camps

Sports camps are offered through USC Upstate for children starting at age 6. See their website for individual camp information.

Spartanburg Science Center

Each summer the John F. Green Spartanburg Science Center offers a wide range of classes and camps for children ages 6 – rising 8th graders. Classes and camps are held weekly. Morning sessions are 9am – Noon and afternoon sessions run 1–4pm.

YMCA Summer Camp

A variety of half- and full-day camps from June 8-August 14, 2020. Ages 3-13. Registration is available for both Middle Tyger Family YMCA and Thomas E. Hannah YMCA.

Camp Little Brave is a camp hosted by the YMCA for children 3-4 years old on Mondays-Fridays from 9am-1pm. Children will make crafts, play games and have weekly swimming lessons. Cost varies depending on membership.

In addition, YMCA offers several different sports or specialty camps (such as soccer, equestrian and fishing camps) with various dates, age groups and costs. Please see the website for specific information about registering for these camps.

Spartanburg Art Museum

SAM offers 12 different half-day summer camps for various age groups (4-12 years old) weekly during June and July. These thematic camps will focus on teaching arts and having fun. Please see their website to view the various themes and options.

Wofford Athletics Summer Camps

A variety of athletic summer camps are hosted by Wofford for kids 6 and up. They host a wide range of sports camps: baseball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, golf, football, tennis, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, cross country and volleyball. Camps have various start dates, durations and costs.

Spartanburg Youth Theatre

A two-week intensive Mandarin language and culture camp at Wofford. This camp program is free; however, you must apply and be accepted into the competitive program. They only accept 45 of the many 6th-12th grade applicants. See their webpage for more details and to apply.

Ballet Spartanburg

Ballet Spartanburg will host more than 20 different camps throughout the summer for children beginning at age 2. Camps and classes range in duration from one hour, half day or full day. USC Upstate Drama Camps

Lawson Academy Fine Arts Day Camp
