Strawberry Hill USA, is a 115-acre strawberry farm and also grows summer squash, pumpkins, cantaloupe, and cucumbers. They have a cafe and ice cream parlor open year round. 2020 Fall activities include Cooley’s Corn Maze as well as both pre-picked pumpkins and still on the vine pumpkin patch! Fall Activities will be held every Saturday & Sunday, Sept. 19th – Nov. 1st, 2020
Corn maze hours are Saturdays from 10 am – 6 pm and Sundays 12 pm- 6 pm. The 2020 season’s Flashlight Nights in the Maze are on Saturdays October 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th. Information regarding their COVID-19 precautions can be found here.
Eliada’s features a 12-acre maze as well as 2 children’s trails, the Storybook Trails. These trails lead guests on a fun-filled adventure while following along with a story your child will love. Other attractions include a cow train, spider web climber, tube slides, corn cannon and a jumping pillow. All proceeds benefit Eliada Homes, which is a non-profit organization that serves Western North Carolina children. Activities also include a hayride, pumpkin patch, and corn cannon. A KAS reader favorite, Sky Top Orchard offers mountain views, ponds with ducks and geese, farm animals, play structures and apple and fruit trees. Don’t miss the amazing apple cider donuts. Last year there were some concerns about Sky Top getting too crowded so maybe try to go during the week if you prefer smaller crowds. Sky Top Orchard opened for the season on August 1st!

Guests have been picking their own apples at the 70-acre working farm at Stepp’s Hillcrest Orchard for over 50 years. The farm is open daily, with extra farm activities offered on weekends. Their u-pick apples open on Friday, August 14th this year! The u-pick pumpkin patch opens in October for even more family fun!
Located in West Union, Little Cane Creek Farms features a 5-acre corn maze, hayrides, children’s play area, pumpkin patch, and more. Each year the corn maze has a different theme. Updated 2020 Fall Information is TBA.
Visit Stewart Farms for wagon rides, farm store, farm animals, honey bee observatory, the SC MAiZE, and a pumpkin patch. The 2020 Fall Season begins on Saturday, September 26th.
Nighttime activities include Big Boo: Family-Friendly Haunted Maize and Nighttime Wagon Rides. These are offered on October 16th, 17th, 23rd, 24th, 30th, and 31st. While the Big Boo is family-friendly, it is not recommended for children under the age of 6.
2020 Homeschool Days are on Wednesday, September 30th and Thursday, October 1st.
Visit Greyrock Farm and enjoy a corn maze, pick your own pumpkin and lots more family fun. This year’s corn maze theme is “As a State, We Are Stronger Together.” A nighttime corn maze experience is available on Friday and Saturday nights in October (excluding October 31st).
The corn maze costs $8 per person.
The farm is open daily from 1-6 pm.
Primarily known for their incredible peaches, Fishers Orchard also grows apples that are available for picking in the fall (call for exact dates). Their Fall Festival runs throughout the month of October. The farm is open Saturdays to the public, and weekdays for school groups. Families can pick out pumpkins, enjoy a wagon ride, the maze and the animals for a small fee. This farm is perfect for small children.
