All camps are half day only:

Morning: 9 am-12 pm: Pre-K, completed grades K5-1, and completed grades 2-3.

Afternoon: 1 pm-4 pm: Completed grades K5-3 only. Please note afternoon camps repeat morning camp activities.

Each camp is split up between Pre-K, K5-1st grade, and 2nd-3rd grade. Programming is adapted per each age group.

  • $160/non-member – Registration opens February 14, 2018

Pre-K campers must be 4 years old by the start date of camp.

Best In Show: (June 11-15) Come see what it takes to be the cream of the crop this week as we kick off the summer with all sorts of fun activities, making our camps the best around!

Superheroes Unite! (June 18-22) It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s… Ultra Shield and Atomic Surfer!?! Yes, your child too will have their own superhero name this week at camp when we assume a double identity and save the day. Kids will participate in creating their own alter-egos and enjoy a whole week full of superhero themed activities.

Wild Wild West (June 25-29) Yeehaw! Saddle up and ride on into Summer Camp for our Wild Wild West theme week that celebrates everything western! We will have some great games at the Summer Camp Coral just for your buckaroo. Giddy-up cowboys and cowgirls!

3 Wishes (July 9-13) A magical week unfolds before us as we experience stories of wishes that came true. We’ll transport ourselves to exotic places through games and activities as well. Along with that, we’ll learn to understand how to fulfill wishes of our own and those of others.

Hawaiian Hullabaloo (July 16-20) Aloha boys and girls! Are you ready to camp away your days in a tropical paradise? This week offers a variety of fun and educational music, dance, and art related activities with a Hawaiian theme.

Christmas In July (July 23-27) Have a holly, jolly Christmas, it’s the best time of the year. I don’t know if there’ll be snow, but summer camp makes us cheer!

Modern Playgrounds (July 30-August 3) Join us as we visit playgrounds of the modern age. From parks to indoor entertainment centers, we will be focused on having fun this week in all sorts of fun and engaging ways!

Summer Rewind (August 6-10) What did we like most about Summer Camp? Find out, rewind the track, and play it again! Kids will get a do-over this week as they participate in their favorite activities from weeks past and friends will get a chance to form those final bonds before the start of a new school year. What a way to end the summer!

June 11th – June 15th (Camp Theme – Elevation) We’re taking our fun level to new heights this week! Activities include indoor rock-climbing, a field trip to Big Air, paddling the river and a zip line tour. We’ll wrap up the week with an adventure packed trip to Lake Lure!

June 25th – June 29th (Camp Theme – Discovery) We’ll be discovering how to navigate a tree top topes course, then we’ll explore caves and go white water rafting. This week also includes paddling the river and a waterfall hike!

July 9th – July 13th (Camp Session – Splash) This week is all about, you guessed it… water! If water is involved, we’re doing it! Activities includes whitewater rafting, whitewater kayaking, water games, paddling and plenty of time for swimming.

***All of these camp sessions will include an optional overnight camping trip on Thursday.

Big Air Trampoline Park Summer Camp 2018

Let your kids bounce of OUR walls this Summer. Big Air Trampoline Park is the Upstate’s premier indoor trampoline park featuring never before seen attractions in the upstate like Battle Beam, Orbit Challenge, Trampoline Laser Maze, Mechanical Bull and South Carolina’s LARGEST Ninja Warrior course. Your kids will have plenty to do to stay active at Big Air Trampoline Park.

Your kids will love hanging out at Big Air this summer. Jumping on our trampolines and flipping in our foam pits is just the beginning. Your kids will enjoy making new friends and building memories that will last forever.

Big Air offers day camps for kids aged 6-12 years old for only $100/week. We offer weekly morning sessions and afternoon sessions. Weekly camp sessions include 20 hours of jumping in the park, 5 lunches and snacks, Big Air Backpack, Big Air souvenir cup, and more.

Camp sessions are Monday – Friday from 9:00am-1:00pm or from 1pm-5pm. Drop off times are up to 30 minutes before and pickup times are up to 30 minutes after. All campers are required to have a valid waiver on file and must complete our registration form.

Camp Love a Pet

This is a one-week day camp at the Spartanburg Humane Society for students in 5th-10th grade. Campers who love animals will enjoy this camp that focuses on training a shelter dog and learning about animal welfare issues.

The Spartanburg Humane Society also offers mini-camps for younger campers that are shorter in duration. These camps are for campers in 3rd and 4th grade. This camp teaches students basic training techniques.

Camp Mary Elizabeth

Girl Scout camp is open to ALL girls entering 1st-12th grade (whether they are girl scouts or not) with multiple weekly themed camp options. Campers are grouped according to age. Camps have options to purchase half-summer and whole-summer packages.

Camp Sweet Escape

This camp is specifically designed for campers 6-17 years old living with Type I Diabetes. This camp is fun, adventurous and medically safe for those taking more than one insulin injection daily. This year’s Upstate camp will be held July 28-August 1, 2018 in Marietta, SC.

This unique camp is limited to rising seniors in Spartanburg, Cherokee, Greenville, Union and Laurens counties. There is no cost to attend; however, campers must apply and be selected to attend.

USC Upstate Athletic Camps

Wofford Shared Worlds

Shared Worlds is a unique writing camp for rising 8th-12th graders who enjoy writing fantasy and science fiction. Students get the opportunity to work with professional writers and bestselling authors. Apply by April 1st on the website.

Startalk

Wofford College, Spartanburg, SC

A two-week intensive Mandarin language and culture camp at Wofford. This camp program is free; however, you must apply and be accepted into the competitive program. They only accept 45 of the many 6th-12th grade applicants. See their webpage for more details and to apply.

Spartanburg’s local YMCA locations offer super fun summer camps with various themed weeks. These weekly camps are 5-13 years old. Cost varies depending on membership.

Camp Little Brave is a camp hosted by the YMCA for children 3-4 years old on Mondays-Fridays from 9am-1pm. Children will make crafts, play games and have weekly swimming lessons. Cost varies depending on membership.

In addition, YMCA offers several different sports or specialty camps (such as soccer, equestrian and fishing camps) with various dates, age groups and costs. Please see the website for specific information about registering for these camps.
