Wondering where to get free lunch and breakfast for kids in Spartanburg, SC this summer? The annual Summer Food Service Program is part of a national initiative to address childhood food insecurity by making sure children who take part in the free lunch program during the school year continue to have access to nutritious meals during the summer.

Not just low-income children are included in the program. Any child (18 and under) living in a district near a title 1 school is eligible for the program.

The links below are to individual school district pages. We will update with information specific to each district when released.

Spartanburg School District One

Beginning Tuesday, June 2, 2021, Spartanburg One will offer FREE breakfast and lunch daily at Chapman High School to anyone 18 years old and younger! Children must be present in order to receive meals.

Breakfast: 7:15 – 8:15 a.m. daily
Lunch: 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. daily

The summer meal program will be closed during the weeks of July 5-9 and July 26-30.

Spartanburg School District Two

District Two will be offering free breakfast and lunch meals for all children under 18. Each curbside pick-up will consist of 7 days worth of breakfast and lunch. Please choose the location closest to your home for pickup. Parents/guardians will need to provide their name and students’ names at pick up.

Spartanburg School District Three

District Three has developed a 7 Day Meal Kit for your kids and teens at no cost to you! Meal Kits are FREE for all kids and teens 18 & under! Limit one meal kit per child. Meal Kits not available for adults. Each kit includes a week’s worth of breakfasts, lunches, and snacks.

Tuesdays, 12pm – 1pm
The first week of July, pickup will be on Friday, July 2.

FREE MEALS to all District Five students this summer! 1 breakfast and 1 lunch will be available per child, per day. Be sure to take advantage of this nutritious slice of summer.

Spartanburg School District Six

District Six will be offering free breakfast and lunch again this summer for anyone 18 and under. Every Wednesday, beginning June 9, we will be giving away one weeks’ worth of wholesome and delicious meals, 100% juice and 1% milk.

12:30-1:15 Spartanburg Memorial Airport Park (at the waterpark) | 500 Ammons Rd

We will serve every Wednesday, except July 7.

Spartanburg School District Seven

District 7 is participating in two summer meal programs during 2021 to support families in our Spartanburg community. Anyone age 18 and under is eligible to participate in either program. Weekly meal kits will be available until the end of July. Meal kits are first come, first served with no advance registration needed.
