About Strawberry Hill

Beginning in September, Strawberry Hill transforms from the summer produce farm we know into a  Fall Harvest Market! They have a huge selection of pumpkins and gourds grown on the farm, mums, hay bales, and corn stalks. You will also find apples brought in from just around the corner in Hendersonville, North Carolina. If there is a fall-time favorite you are looking for and you can’t find it here, it doesn’t exist.

During the Fall Season that runs through the end of October, the fun can be had at the farm starting around lunchtime. A combo ticket will allow you to enjoy both the corn maze and the wagon ride.

Activities at Strawberry Hill

The corn maze which covers 10 acres has tons of turns and twists that can provide your family with some awesome device free fun. This year, in honor of their 10th Annual Corn Maze the theme is JURASSIC FARM and it boasts 3 separate mazes in 1! There is also a family-friendly nighttime “flashlight maze.” Keeping this a family-friendly attraction means they don’t allow any scary costumes or masks. Strawberry Hill notes on their website, if you are looking for a haunted type attraction – “this is not the place for you.”

The wagon ride has been suspended in 2020 due to COVID-19
The wagon ride adventure will take about an hour and will take you to meet the farms famous “Mr. Troll” and his farm animals. The wagon stops and lets everyone off to enjoy a playground area and a chance to pick your own pie pumpkin. The wagon ride is not stroller friendly, so if you are heading to this first, I suggest leaving the stroller in the car. Be sure to bring a camera though, I promise there will be lots of cute photo opportunities.

Before you leave, make sure to stop by and grab a treat from the ice cream parlor in the cafe. The strawberry, blackberry & peach ice cream is made in house with fruit from the farm.
